“Empowerment Through Art: Using Creativity for Growth”
Creativity is a powerful tool for personal growth, community development, and social change. Many people today face a range of personal and social challenges, from mental health struggles and social isolation to a lack of constructive outlets for self-expression. Many, particularly those lost their career due to social and personal reason, have limited access to opportunities and creative growth. People miss opportunities to build confidence, express themselves, and explore career pathways in the arts. Art has long been recognized as a valuable medium for fostering emotional well-being, creativity, and community engagement. Studies have shown that engagement in the arts can improve mental health, increase empathy, and promote social connection. Furthermore, the arts offer viable career paths in various fields, yet many people are unaware of these possibilities due to limited exposure and resources. “Banana Creatives MiP is trying to open possibilities of Empowerment Through Art” we seek to address these needs by offering an accessible, inclusive art program that supports youth in exploring their creative potential. Through structured workshops, mentorship, and public exhibitions, this program will empower participants to use creativity as a pathway to growth, healing, earning and community involvement.
